The song was performed tenth on the night (following Switzerland's Lys Assia with "Refrain" and preceding Germany's Freddy Quinn with "So geht das jede Nacht"). As the scoreboard for the 1956 Contest has never been made public, it is impossible to say with certainty which position this song held at the close of voting. The song is in the ''chanson'' style and describes the singer's wedding, which she describes as the best day of her life.
